A Note of Gratitude…

As I relaunch this website, I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to Dora Kamau and the Into the Depths Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher Training, as well as my incredible cohort.

This experience has been truly life-changing.

After navigating multiple career pivots and unexpected shifts over the past decade, I find myself in a place of deep humility and gratitude—to have been supported through growth, discomfort, and transformation by such mindful and compassionate individuals.

I’m here because I believe my purpose is to make an impact—however small or big—by helping others reconnect with and reclaim their most authentic narrative.

We all carry stories about who we are.
But how often do we get the space to uncover the ones that live more quietly beneath the surface—perhaps the ones we haven’t yet had the chance to fully meet or make peace with?

Through this program—and through 12 weeks of support, accountability, and mentorship—I feel grounded in beginning this next chapter: offering this work to others.

While my intention is to support many, I feel especially called to begin with the Asian-American community—where I know there is both a deep need and a deep resonance for this kind of work.

One insight that stayed with me comes from Angie Franklin during one of our final sessions:

“We’re not here to sell a service—we’re here to solve a problem.”

That reframe has stayed with me, and continues to shape how I approach this work.

To my cohort and to Dora—thank you. I’m wishing each of you a beautiful continuation of your journey as we move forward, continuing to learn, to heal, and to support others in doing the same.

With gratitude,
Jo
